I had the thrilling chance to collaborate with Book Flow Go (BFG), a newly formed company that united three leaders in Parking Technology. Together, we aimed to assist clients in developing new infrastructure and optimizing routes and layouts to boost capacity. My role involved designing the new website and partnering closely with their Head of Growth to realize their vision.
The Process
I began by researching various parking infrastructure providers and creating a mood board for BFG, which helped me identify the elements of competitor websites they preferred and those they didn't. This provided a solid foundation for wireframing designs and initiating discussions about their desired website. A key consideration for them was maintaining their unique identities despite merging three companies into one. Therefore, color became crucial in crafting cohesive yet distinct experience on the website, with blue, orange, and green accents representing each company.

The Results
Collaborating with BFG was a rewarding experience. It was a challenge to understand the client's needs while coordinating with three internal companies, each with their own distinct identity. However, I leveraged my design expertise and communication skills to create a website that captured their unique personalities while providing them with a space that felt distinctly theirs. Regrettably, with new management, the company chose to diverge from my original designs, and their new website has drawn inspiration from my work. I believe this highlights a key aspect of design: sometimes visions and ideas remain just that—visions. As a creative, it's essential to detach from your designs, embrace new directions, and move on to the next exciting project.
